Junior Camp Daily Schedule
Sunday
2-3:30 p.m. - Check-in
3:30-5:30 p.m. - afternoon tennis drill session and camper evaluation
5:30 p.m. - dinner and overnight camp organizational meeting
6:30 p.m. - evening activity
9-10 p.m. - free time
10 p.m. - in room and lights out
Monday-Wednesday
7:30 a.m. - wake up for overnight campers
8:15 a.m. - breakfast
9:00 a.m. - warm-up jog and stretch
9:15 a.m. - stroke of the day and drills
9:45 a.m. - break
10:00 a.m. - singles (Monday/Tuesday) and doubles drills (Wednesday)
10:45 a.m. - group fitness
11:15 a.m. - group game
11:30 a.m. - break for lunch (morning session ends)
12:30 p.m. - monitored free time
1:00 p.m. - coaches observe singles and doubles matches
3:00 p.m. - extended tennis, swim, or other racquet sport (badminton, ping pong, squash)
4:00 p.m.. - day camper pickup at Faulkner courts
5:00 p.m.. - extended day camper pick up and dinner for resident campers
9:00 p.m. - return to campus and free time
10:00 p.m. - in room/ lights out
Thursday
7:30 a.m. - wake up for overnight campers
8:15 a.m. - breakfast
9:00 a.m. - team roll call and team name activity
9:15 a.m. - team tennis events
11:00 a.m. - team relay races
11:30 a.m. - break for lunch (morning session ends)
1:00 p.m. - team tennis continues with racquet olympics
3:30 p.m. - awards ceremony
4:00 p.m. - check out for regular session overnight campers
5:00 p.m. - dinner for extended campers
6:00 p.m. - depart for evening activity
9:00 p.m. - return to campus and free time
10:00 p.m. - in room/ lights out
Friday* (clinic)
9:00 a.m. - on court warm up
9:15 a.m. - review of week's lessons
9:30 a.m. - fed ball and live ball drills
10:00 a.m. - water break
10:15 a.m. - serve and return of serve
10:30 a.m. - point play
11:00 a.m. - end of clinic
*clinic will need a minimum of 3 participants to run
Friday p.m. - Sunday a.m. (extended camp for overnight campers)
Overnight campers can stay on campus extra nights or through the weekend. Extra charges do apply (please click here).
Weekend Activities will be organized and supervised and may include trips to downtown Philadelphia, the outdoor pool, the New Jersey shore, and/or a baseball game.
